Prism is a new 501c3 nonprofit affiliate to Daily Kos that elevates stories, ideas, and solutions from people whose voices are critical to a reflective democracy.
The Prism platform leverages Daily Kos’s reach of 10M monthly unique readers to bring sustained awareness to issues like voting rights, criminal justice and climate justice and drive national exposure for diverse voices, showcase unique ideas, lift up underrepresented voices, and bring innovative solutions to the forefront. Fellows help shape national narratives, bring visibility to communities organizing on the front lines and amplify solutions to systemic problems.
The 2019 Prism Senior Fellows include: Aimee Allison (Founder of She the People), LaTosha Brown (Black Voters Matter), Maurice Mitchell (National Director of Working Families Party), Hon. Kevin Killer (Member of the Dakota Senate)
