The Story:  I have been working hard with some amazing musicians to re-create the beautiful songs of our story.  2020 marks the 55th  anniversary of the Voting Act movement that took place in my native city of Selma, Alabama.  This album is a tribute to the Negro spirituals and freedom songs that gave life to that movement.    I want to capture this spirit and remind the world that these songs lift up all of humanity.     The studio, the musicians and production all have a cost, so we need your support to make this vision come to life.
